Chocolate Matzah Brittle

This is an amazing snack/dessert. Be sure to make at least three or four times the amount you think you will need!!

Sheets of matzah

2 sticks of pareve margarine (or butter if you prefer dairy)

1 cup of brown sugar

1 bag of chocolate chips

(Hint: cover the cookie pan with foil.  You will appreciate that at clean up time.)

Line a cookie pan with matzah sheets. It is OK if they overlap.  Melt the margarine with the brown sugar until it starts to boil.  Pour this mixture over the matzahs and bake at 375F (191C) for 7 minutes. Take the pan out of the oven, and pour the chocolate bits over the matzahs. After the chips melt, let it all cool in the refrigerator for at least one hour.  Take it out of the fridge and break it all  into pieces.  Be sure to get out of the way of stampeding snackers!!
