NEW RESTAURANT IN MANHATTAN

March 4, 2004 at 5:46:33p.m.

We received an email today from the owners of the Prime Grill, a really upscale and wonderful kosher restaurant in Manhattan. Here it is:

In our latest news, we are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our newest venture. A Mediterranean venue with an Asian kick, “SOLO” will be the next addition to our growing family of kosher restaurants. Located in the Sony building at 550 Madison Avenue. Modular translucent partitions will open and close allowing for various private seating configurations, all with plasma monitors permitting personal and business presentations if so desired. Also featured at SOLO will be the private Club Room with seating for up to for 20, physically connected to the kitchen allowing you to dine with the chef himself. It is here that patrons relinquish a traditional menu for a more daring romp with the creative genius of Chef Hok Chin! What will be served here will not be available on any menu- anywhere! This nine course-tasting menu of special dishes will be inspired by the days market offerings.

In short, it will be our pleasure to see all of our valued patrons of The Prime Grill, enjoying the new and exciting venue and cuisine to be offered at SOLO. Opening in the early spring of 2004.

Finally, the staff at The Prime Grill would like to wish you a very happy Purim. We promise to keep the bar open until you can’t tell the difference between Haman & Mordechai!

Sounds like our kind of place. Can’t wait to try it!
