Miscellaneous Kashrut Notes from All Over

(1) Hansen?s Natural Junior Juice Box Drinks Apple Berry, Apple Grape, Apple Juice, Fruit Punch, Mixed Fruit, Orange Twist and White Grape, Hansen Beverage Co., Corona, CA Issue: The Apple Grape and White Grape products contain OU approved Kosher white grape concentrate. The OU at present is not included in the graphics on some of the above individual box drinks. However, the letters OU can be found video jetted as part of the production code on top of the container where it says ?Best when used by??. The OU can be found on the J. Board of the 12 pack (i.e. display board in the form of the letter ?J?). When new packaging is fully developed, the OU logo will be placed on all of the above individual box drinks. Some new packaging already exists bearing the OU logo.

(2) Sugar Free Tums are not kosher certified for year-round use.
Some flavors of the regular Tums contain dairy. Consumers should be careful to review the label.

(3) Shaklee Vita Cocoa Flavoured Bar has been reformulated and should have a “dairy” designation. This product is dairy.
