Banza, a Detroit-based manufacturer of chickpea-based pasta, has expanded into long noodles with its high-protein, chickpea-based spaghetti. The new pasta, which joins Banza’s penne, rotini, elbows and shells offerings, contains 25 grams of protein, 13 grams of fiber and 40 percent fewer net carbs than traditional pasta per serving. It’s also Non-GMO Project Verified, kosher, gluten-free, low glycemic and vegan. SRP is $3.49 per 8-ounce box.
