We got this recipe many, many years ago on a closed list for Jewish food. It is great!
Matza Roni and Cheese
3 large eggs
3 1/2 cups matza farfel
8 oz cheddar cheese cubed or shredded
1 c milk
salt and pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
oregano or basil to taste if availble and if desired
1/2 pint of sour cream
1/4 cup butter or less as desired
Mix the following: eggs, milk, sour cream,
seasonings
Mix in the cheese
Pour over the farfel in a 8×8 or 9×9 square pan
dot with margarine
cover with foil
bake 30 minutes at 350
take off the foil for additional 10 minutes of baking
Should be lightly brown
Serve in squares.
