SAUTEED APPLES

We got this recipe from Bon Appetit Magazine. We tried it. Our company loved it. Really, though, whoda thunk of making sauteed apples?

3 Tablespoons butter or margarine
4 large Granny Smith apples peeled, cored and cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
2 Tablespoons golden brown sugar
1 Tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoom of ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of grated orange peel

Cook the butter in a large non-stick skillet over medium/high heat until it begins to brown. Add the apples and saute until tender (about 9 minutes). Add all remaining ingredients and stir them so that it all blends together.

Cover and chill.

Enjoy!
