There’s a new pizza in town. Instead of the usual round pizza, this pizza is long- 39.33 inches long to be exact. They call it pizza meter because you can buy a quarter meter, a half meter, or a full meter. The pizza is about 8 inches wide and however many inches long you want.
Most of the pizza meter stores are NOT kosher- the one located at 54 Emek Refaim St in the German Colony is most assuredly kosher. They mostly specialize in home delivered pizzas. The number is 1 700 505040.
But, don’t stop reading here, click below for the rest of the story-
The olives are whole, so they sort of roll off the pizza. Plus they still have pits which was more than just a tad surprising! The basil leaves are whole. Yes, you read that correctly- whole basil leaves. It looks sort of like a pizza that sat in the sukkah too long.
Ok, but what about the taste? It was EXCELLENT. Who ever thought we would like a pizza with feta cheese on it? We loved it!.
They also offer an Evita pie- salsa, mozzerella, green onions, tuna, corn, egg and some secret ingredients. We will pass on that one!
The Patricia pie has salsa, mozzerella, felafel, parmesan cheese, and green onions.
And on and on and on. There are many other variations, some too crazy to list here. But you get the idea.
They deliver to all Jerusalem neighborhoods as well as to all hotels. The kids are crazy about the Cha Cha Cha and we agree- it is that good. Try it next time you are here in Jerusalem.
