AL DENTE

Al Dente restaurant has been around for a while, but they just got a new chef and a new attitude. We went there on motzei shabbat and had a wonderful time. The place was fairly empty, but, then again, they did a very brisk take out business while we were there.
Located at 50 Ussishkin St in the Rechavia section of Jerusalem, the restaurant is blessed with abundant parking in the area.
Three of us went and had a super lovely time.
Dishes we ate:
Denis fish with lentils and spinach
St Peter fish with Jasmine rice
Pepperdella with a nice sauce, mushrooms, a hint of lemon and pecorino-romano cheese on top.
All three meals were quite delish. The fish dishes came with nice salads on the side. The salads were fresh and quite colorful.
We ordered a foccaccia with garlic, oil and zatar for the table and it came with dipping oil. The restaurant puts out a plate with sweet beets, onions and egg plant slices. That was a nice touch.
We had coffee, soda and water to drink.
Service was quite good, but not stifling. The cost was quite good and very affordable. We will probably go again soon!
