JUST TOO FUNNY

In proving yet again, that kashruth in the United States is in serious danger, we find the following in an article about the potential collapse of kashruth:

“The U. S. Government INTERRED Shalom Rubashkin and is pursuing legal action against him. ………”

We didn’t even know that the man had died. How sad. Oh, wait a minute- it is just a silly editing error. They meant to say INTERNED.

What we don’t understand is how this presages the potential collapse of kashruth. Or even of kashrus, too, for that matter.

If the point of this is that Gentiles who think that kosher is somehow better will turn their shopping carts away from kosher products once they know that their opinion is simply not true, then we can understand the thought behind it all. However, every college student who has taken a freshman level marketing class knows this is not true.
