Meat Bagel Buns
What You’ll Need
1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup liquid egg substitute
1/3 cup no-salt-added tomato sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
What to Do
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Divide meat into 3 portions. Using your hands, roll 1 portion into a ball and then indent in the middle. Flatten slightly to form a bagel shape. Place the beef bagel on baking sheet and repeat with remaining beef.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink. Allow meat bagels to cool slightly, then slice in half.
