Crisp BBQ Chicken Tenders

What You’ll Need

  • 4 (2-ounce) chicken tenders, each cut into 3 pieces
  • 1/3 fat-free Italian dressing
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons sugar-free barbecue sauce

What to Do

  1. Place chicken pieces in a large resealable plastic bag. Add dressing and rotate bag gently to coat chicken completely.
  2. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours. Remove tenders from bag; discard excess dressing.
  3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  4. Place bread crumbs in a shallow dish; coat chicken with crumbs. Let stand 1 minute, then transfer to baking sheet.
  5. Bake 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Serve with barbecue sauce.

Notes

Just a tip: It’ll be easier to cut the chicken tenders if they’re slightly frozen.
