The Chick Shop- New Restaurant In Manhattan

A newly kosher vegetarian falafel place is open on the east side of Midtown Manhattan: The Chick Shop, which recently earned its kosher certification in November.

Classic falafel is available in a pita or on a plate and comes with whole wheat pita, hummus, Israeli salad, white cabbage, and pickles. Also available as a sabich instead of falafel, which typically includes fried eggplant and hardboiled egg.

The Salad Bowl comes with baby arugula, feta cheese, chopped salad, roasted pumpkin seeds, extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice.

The Hummus Bowl is filled with chick peas, paprika, parsley, extra virgin olive oil, and a choice of a topping from the following options: falafel, fried cauliflower, hard boiled egg, and chopped salad, and comes with pita.
