Ingredients:
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 -2 onions, sliced
1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
2 (8-ounce) cans tomatoes, chopped
Salt, pepper to taste
1/4 cup parve chicken broth
2 – 3 pounds fresh green beans, cooked
1/2 lemon, juiced
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet, sauté onion in oil until translucent. Add mushrooms and sauté until tender and water in mushrooms is absorbed. Add tomato sauce and tomatoes. Cook for an additional 3 – 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and chicken broth. Combine well.
Place green beans in ovenproof dish and pour sauce over beans. Bake, uncovered, for 30 – 40 minutes. remove from oven and drizzle lemon juice. Mix well. Serve hot
