Straight From Harry Potter: Yuengling’s Ice Cream Presents Butterbeer Ice Cream

Calling all muggles: Butterbeer, the popular wizarding drink from the Harry Potter series, is available in ice cream form and you don’t even need to hop aboard the Hogwarts Express to find it.

Pennsylvania company Yuengling’s Ice Cream announced Monday the latest addition to their 18-flavor lineup. Butterbeer is inspired by the flavors found in J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world and if it tastes as good as it sounds, it should be magically delightful.

In every pint, buttercream and butterscotch ice cream come together to make the mythical frozen concoction. Add in a butterscotch swirl, and you have dessert worthy of a feast in the Great Hall. The perfect combination of creamy and sweet, Yuengling’s promises that the frozen treat will take you to another place and time.

“We are always looking for ways to inspire our fans and spark creativity. Whether it’s our flavor names and descriptions or the recipes themselves—we’re in the business of having fun,” said David Yuengling, President of Yuengling’s Ice Cream in a press release. Wizards and non-magic folk alike can find pints of butterbeer in the freezer section today. Quart sizes are still in the works, but will be available soon.
