SodaStream has collaborated with Chef Paul Liebrandt on their new flavor line. Calling it Sparkling Gourmet the new line includes 12 flavor combinations divided into three groups: herbs, fruits, and flowers, all using high-quality natural flavoring and only natural ingredients.
According to SodaStream, this collection is a creative interpretation of SodaStream’s new ‘water made exciting’ brand positioning, which focuses on sparkling water and its enhancement with natural tastes and less sugar. Retail buyers attending the International Home + Housewares Show can sample these new flavors at their booth in Lakeside.
Flavors are: Yuzu Mandarin, Sea Buckthorn, Green Apple Cucumber, Black Currant Lime, Raspberry Lychee Rose, Vanilla Lemon, Hibiscus Blackberry, Shiso Yuzy, Green Apple Coriander, Lime Basil, and Black Cherry Sassafras.
Liebrandt, chef and partner at The Elm in New York City, is known for being eccentric in his culinary style. His flavor combinations include Green Apple and Cucumber, an interpretation of a summer’s day in an English Garden, and Sea Buckthorn, a northern European influence with gentle overtones of passion fruit and orange.
“I am thrilled to be collaborating with SodaStream on the Sparkling Gourmet line. This partnership gives me the chance to share my flavor memories of herbs, flowers and fruits. To be creative in the medium of sparkling water is a unique and exciting opportunity, as water is the basis from which all flavors originate.”
Yaron Kopel, chief innovation and design officer at SodaStream, believes this partnership with expose the SodaStream brand to more foodies. “Natural flavoring as water enhancers will appear more and more throughout our entire collection, and the Sparkling Gourmet range is a great way to launch this new approach,” he said.
