Torie & Howard unveils the newest flavor in its line of organic hard candies: Meyer lemon and raspberry. The first new flavor introduction since the company’s launch at the 2012 Winter Fancy Food Show, the sweet and sour candy will be available for sampling at the Summer Fancy Food Show and begin shipping in early fall, packaged in Torie & Howard’s signature 2-ounce recyclable steetl tin (SRP $3.99–$4.99). The new product joins four existing flavors: California pomegranate and sweet freestone nectarine, Italian tarocco blood orange and wildflower honey, d’anjou pear and Ceylon cinnamon, and pink grapefruit and tupelo honey.
Tins are sold eight per case with 12 cases to a master case. The four original flavors also are available in bulk and in a handbag gift package (SRP $7.99–$8.99). Founded by color consultant Torie Burke and interior designer Howard Slatkin, Torie & Howard produces all-natural, organic hard candy that is also kosher certified and non-GMO. A portion of the company’s proceeds go to Autism Speaks
