Dufour’s Pastry Dough and Tart Shells Are Now Kosher
Dufour Pastry Kitchens announces their frozen, ready-to-bake pastry dough and tart shells are now KOF-K Kosher Dairy certified.
“We are extremely happy to respond to the many requests we’ve received for Kosher certification,” Dufour’s CEO Judi Arnold says. “All our pastry ingredients have passed KOF-K’s requirements, and we continue to produce the exact same high quality products that have earned us our reputation as “the chef’s secret source.”
This includes Dufour’s all-butter Classic Puff Pastry, available in foodservice for chefs and in a 14-ounce retail box for home consumers. Winner of multiple awards, their Classic Puff Pastry has been named a 2014 sofi finalist, Outstanding Classic, by the International Specialty Food Association. They continue to use only churned sweet butter, unbleached flour, water, salt and lemon juice. Their butter source remains an upstate New York creamery.
