Tonight begins Shavuot. At our shul here in Jerusalem, we have a tikkun that actually does run all night long. We are very excited because Rabbi Dr. Avraham Steinberg, winner of the Pras Yisrael, a major and well known figure in the international community for his work with children and his many publications on Medical Ethics, is speaking at 3:00am. Yes, 3:00am! We think we shall take a very long nap that afternoon!

On Shavuot, we all stand at Sinai and listen to God’s revealed Torah.

May we merit to live a life of Torah.
