ECO COLA

There is a new cola in Israel called Eco Cola. Also known as the “green” cola, the drink is very expensive. An American sized can goes for $1.75 in the supermarket. (Almost vending machine price!). A six pack of small, half size cans goes for about $6.00.

The cola claims that it only contains “natural flavors,” and is sweetened with Stevia. Stevia is not an artificial sweetener. Each can contains two calories.

A reviewer in a Jerusalem Post magazine said, “As for the flavor, many of our guests could not tell it was not their regular cola, a few liked it better, and some said they did not like it.”

Way too expensive for our tastes, we figure we can just skip it. We can stick with flavored water.
