CHOCOLATE FRIED CHICKEN???

First the trefe story: Sorry folks, it’s way too early for April Fool’s posts. Adam Fleischman, known mainly as the guy behind Umami Burger and 800 Degrees (along with various partners), has decided it’s a good idea to open a chocolate-flavored fried chicken restaurant.

We always carefully watch trends in trefe foods to get an idea of what may be coming up in the kosher market. No one knows if chocolate fried chicken will take off, but if it does, we’re betting the kosher market will not be far behind! And, frankly, we certainly hope so!
