Chocolate Cups from Newman’s Own Organics are Now Kosher

Newman’s Own Organics recently secured the certification of the STAR-D Kosher Supervision. The Super Dark Chocolate Cups with Peanut Butter Centers and Super Dark Chocolate Cups with Raspberry Centers are now certified kosher. The products are dairy (non-cholov yisroel), kosher for year-round-use, excluding Passover.

These cups have a creamy, melt-in-your mouth texture. The peanuts are certified organic Valencia peanuts cultivated in New Mexico. The peanuts are roasted with the skin and germ left in, then dry roasted and milled in a certified, traditional peanut mill. The organic peppermint oil for the mint cups is distilled from the leaves of the Native American mentha piperita shrub.
