Take out from this kosher restaurant in Jerusalem is an adventure. We have never seen food so carefully prepped for take out orders.
We had the Norma Jean- hamburger made from ground entrecote. It is a most wonderful creation. No junk cuts of meat thrust into the grinder- this is great meat, lovingly prepared.
The sandwich is put in a dual compartment box. On one side, the beef is on the bun and covered with a cardboard piece to keep it warm. In the other compartment, the top of the bun covered with the toppings you chose. You then choose from the several containers of sauces for your own topping of choice, and voila- one super sandwich.
Because the burger can be a tad sloppy to eat (yum- a perfect burger), they include a large napkin as well as a very large wet wipe for when you are done.
The burgers were cooked exactly as requested. The fries could have been a tad crisper, but then again, they were take out. We had some spicy fries which were not terribly spicy, but they were tasty. The salads served on the side were fresh, colorful and quite tasty.
All in all, it was quite a take out meal. We all made joyful sounds as we ate our dinner.
