BOEREWORS SAUSAGES

Last night we tried JACK’S GOURMET DELICIOUS AND KOSHER BOEREWORS SAUSAGES.

In a word- fantabulous!

We were curious about Boerewors sausage so we looked them up on Wiki: Boerewors is based on an older traditional Dutch sausage called the verse worst, though it differs somewhat in its ingredients. Boerewors is made from coarsely minced beef and spices (usually toasted coriander seed, black pepper, nutmeg, cloves and allspice).

All we know is that we had a guest join us for dinner and the two of us mightily enjoyed those sausages.
