HIGH FRUCTOSE SWEETENERS

It turns out that lots and lots of people like to buy the Kosher for Passover Coca Cola because it is made with sugar instead of corn syrup. They say it is “real” Coke.

It seems that they may be in for a big surprise in the coming months according to the Wall Street Journal:

“Rapid increases in high-fructose corn syrup prices could mean a switch to lower priced sugar for some food and beverage products. Even before corn prices increased, several smaller soda and food makers in the U.S. began to reject the syrup in favor of sugar as consumers shied away from heavily processed snacks and ingredients.”
