This is the best cous cous I’ve ever made! Enjoy! It’s fast, it’s easy, and it’s delicious!
Saute til clear, 1 large chopped onion. Add fresh or canned mushrooms (about a cup or so). Add 2 cups of Israeli cous cous (this is the cous cous that looks like little balls). Stir for a few seconds and then add 3 cups of warm water. Next add about 1/8 cup of powdered boullion, (I use veggie). Then add two handfuls of raisins and two handfuls of craisins. Stir and cover. Simmer on very low heat for about 7-10 mins until liquid is absorbed. (If necessary add a bit more liquid). Stir and serve. This is yummy!
