ORGANIC NEWS

According to our spies, the hottest new trend (after kosher) in marketing today is certified organic foods. We went into a Whole Foods store recently, and frankly we do not see what all the fuss is all about. We bought organic lemons for which we paid as much for one as we normally pay for three in the regular store, and the taste was certainly no different. Be that as it may, organic foods are big right now.

Take a look at these:

Barbara’s Bakery makes OU certified, Organic Wild Puffs cereal. This is the organic version of Fruity Punch flavored crunchy corn and oat cereal.

Nature’s Path makes OU-D certified Organic Apple Cinnamon Toaster Pastries. Now you too can burn your mouth on piping hot pastry.

Nature’s Path also makes OU-D certified Organic Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. This one has no trans fats, is made from whole wheat, and is vegetarian, too!

We don’t know about you, but the thought of being able to burn our mouth on an organic toaster pastry thrills us to no end. We can’t wait!
