Passover Toffee Squares (Parve!)

These are incredible! Everyone is surprised that they are really Pesachdik!! Make a double batch for sure!

PASSOVER TOFFEE SQUARES

1 Cup Parve Margarine
1 Cup Matzah Cake Meal
1 Egg
8 oz Chocolate Chips (pareve), melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Walnuts, finely chopped
1 Cup Sugar

Cream margarine, sugar, vanilla until light and fluffy. Mix in egg, beating well. Add cake meal gradually. Blend well. (dough will be stiff)

Lightly grease a baking pan (8 inch) Spread dough
out evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Take out of oven. Spread melted chocolate over top and sprinkle with nuts. Press nuts lightly into chocolate. Cut into squares before completly cool.

** You can use almonds instead of walnuts if desired.

*** You can double this recipe and make it in a larger baking pan.
