Well, we gotta say, the name is terrible, but the cake is grrrreat! And the recipe is sooo easy.
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (with or without juice)
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling (or your favorite flavor)
1 box yellow DH cake mix
1 cup melted margerine
1 cup crushed walnuts (optional)
1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Spray a 9×13 cake pan with Pam. In layers, dump the pineapple, cherry
pie filling and cake mix (yup, just the powder). Pour on the melted
margerine to moisten the cake mix. Add nuts.
Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour.
