WHO CUT THE CHEESE?

Actually, ’twas our host who cut the cheese and put it into the salad and also served it in the yard with cut fruit slices. We had never tasted this cheese before, and it was wonderful. Quite frankly, sitting in the back yard in November in NYS was a treat all by itself. Eating the cheese and fruit just added to the wonder of it all!

The cheese was SOL DANABLU.

Kirkeby Dairy was established in 1906 in Svendborg on the pristine island of Funen in Denmark. Their Danablu is unique, with similarities to French Bleu d’Auvergne. It is an excellent cheese.

Certification is by the Kosher Federation of Bet Din of London. It is made with 100% Cholov Yisrael milk.
