Supermarket Guru Phil Lempert has announced the launch of the Food Allergy Buddy (FAB) Dining Card, a free personalized ingredient card that consumers may present to waiters and chefs to provide them with information about their food allergies.

Consumers can enter their allergy information at www.FoodAllergyBuddy.com and then print out business-sized cards to place in their wallets until needed. “When a person presents the FAB card at a restaurant, it underscores the significance for them of avoiding those specific ingredients,” said Lempert. “It’s not just about disliking the taste or asking for it on the side. The FAB Card is all about clear communication without embarrassment, and in some situations, it can mean the difference between life and death,” he added.
