Oops, I am showing my age here!

Great news from Heineken and Krups- the home, beer on tap machine is a dream come true, especially now that baseball season is upon us. The machine is a very upscale appliance designed to fit into any kitchen decor. The cost is about the same as the cost of an upscale home espresso machine. The BEERTENDER will keep a four liter keg of beer fresh and cold for three weeks at a time.

According to Heineken, BeerTender will provide a real draught beer experience at home. The BeerTender is a huge success in Switzerland where it was first introduced. Next stop- the Netherlands. Watch for it here in the Western hemisphere.

This, of course, begs the question- why even bother to leave home?
