Stop & Shop Announces Sweeping Price Reductions for Dairy, Frozen and Coffee Products

QUINCY, Mass., Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ — The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company today announced that it would be lowering everyday prices on thousands of dairy, frozen and coffee products. The price reductions will affect Stop & Shop supermarkets in seven states along the east coast, from Maine to New Jersey. The price reductions will be implemented during the month of November.

These new price reductions are a continuation of the company’s ongoing Value Improvement Program or “VIP”, announced one year ago. To date, Stop & Shop has lowered prices on thousands of other products including produce, water, juices, cereal, pet foods, paper goods, baby care products and household supplies.

In the coming weeks, Stop & Shop will announce when these new prices will take effect in their stores through bold red signs in the aisles and in the supermarket chain’s weekly circular.
