KOSHER FOR PASSOVER WITH NO SPECIAL P CERTIFICATION

Not everything needs a Pesach certification. A few years back we wrote about a widow cleaner that was certified KP. As we saw it, it meant that if you ran out of dishes for your meal, you could use a window as a ready stand-in.

But seriously folks, many things do not need special Pesach certification.

Plain, unflavored seltzer needs no P certification. Neither does baking soda (note: soda, not powder). Household cleaning products not only need no kosher certification, they also do not need P certification.

Do not look for KP clothing detergent- a) you won’t find it and b) it does not even need any kosher certification.

Hershey Cocoa- just open a new can.
Realemon- just open a new bottle.
EVOO- just open a new bottle. As long as it is kosher certified, it is fine.
Quinoa- open a new box. Best if bought before Pesach.
All non iodized salt.
Nestea Decaf and Lipton Decaf tea bags are fine for yom tov.
