This week’s issue of the on-line edition of Kosher Today correctly reports on an article in the spring issue of the Kashrus Kurrents (Star-K). The article there is full of good information.

And then Kosher Today goes on to say:
“Pet owners in recent years have benefited from several manufacturers of pet foods who have made their products kosher.”

O NO! Not again!

Unless there are new products on the market that we have not seen (always a possibility, however unlikely), there are NO kosher pet foods. There are pet foods that are acceptable for Jewish people to feed their pets. Those foods, however, are not kosher for people. Beware!
