FARFEL/CRANBERRY KUGEL (GEBRUKTS)

This one is so good, you can use it for a dessert almost! We add some craisins to the recipe to punch it up a bit. (Editor’s note- this is a rerun. We like this one so much, we just had to run it again.)

1 can cranberry sauce (we use whole berry)
4 cups matzah farfel
4 eggs
2/3 cup of oil
1/2 cup sugar
2 Teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 Teaspoon of cinnamon

Pour cold water over the farfel. Drain the farfel. Mix all the ingredients together. Pour into baking pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand and cool. Serve either hot or cold.
