D BURGER (MEHADRIN KOSHER)

Gas stations in Israel often offer stores and restaurants in the same place. By and large, we have found most of the restaurants to be quite good. This is about a new one that is a Kosher Nexus Five Fork delight.

Located just past the entrance to Givat Zev, at the Delek station there is a small strip mall that is anchored by D Burger.

Let’s cut to the chase: the food is amazing, delicious, filling, fresh, and did we mention that it is amazing?

The restaurant appears to do a rather large take out business, but there are nice tables and chairs inside for those who want to eat there. The decor is sparse, yet modern. The place is well lit, and the food is cooked right in front of you.

Burgers are the winners at D Burger. Made from fresh- never frozen- meat, the burgers include: the Classic Burger (150 Grams), the Maxi (250 grams), Hamburger D (350 grams – 12 ounces!), Hamburger Siniya (rear quarter meat at 220 grams), and much more.

Salads are quite fresh and very tasty. We saw the entrecote salad. It was large and according to the man eating it, it was very tasty.

Appetizers include Marinated Chicken Wings (we had ours with sweet and hot chili sauce), Moroccan Cigars with techina, Sesame Chicken Nuggets, onion rings and chips.

They offer a children’s menu as well as a full sandwich menu. Drinks are the usual sodas, waters, and beers.

We were two men. One of us had the D Burger, the other had the Maxi. One of us had onions, lettuce, pickles, and aioli on the bun. The other of us had chimmichuri and charif. The burgers were cooked just as requested.

We sat and enjoyed our food tremendously. We will for sure go back again and again! Oh, by the way, two burgers, the wings appetizer, and two drinks came to less than $35.
