TUMS MOSTLY ALL STILL KOSHER

TUMS OFTEN IS FOUND NOW WITHOUT THE DIAMOND K HECHSCHER. THE FOLLOWING LETTER FROM THE MANUFACTURER EXPLAINS WHY:

Most Tums® variants are kosher. Tums® receives a Kosher Certificate from Diamond K Supervision. The last certificate was dated October 1, 2009 and was effective through September 30, 2010.

When we made a change to the Tums Labels, the Kosher symbol was omitted from the front label. At the same time we were awaiting the 2009 certification so we removed the sign just to be sure the label would not be wrong should the certification not come through. The certification was in turn renewed.

Nothing about Tums have changed and the Tums listed are still kosher. The certificate never expired as we arranged for it to be extended.
