CAN PASSOVER BE FAR OFF?

If it is almost Purim, then it must be time to prepare for Passover and the Seder.

You can download – in Hebrew/English/Transliteration – FREE materials for Passover that are NEW and UPDATED for 5766 / 2006 in addition to previously published useful materials at www.jewishfreeware.org, sponsored by Foundation For Family Education, Inc. 501c3 (We’ve given away more than 500,000 copies of materials in the last three years.)

PLEASE share the URL, – www.jewishfreeware.org – exchange copies of the materials and give copies to each other. This is “freeware” and my intention is to encourage the use of this material, although not for commercial purposes.

1. You can download and customize your own personal Family Haggadah if you are downloading in Davkawriter Platinum 6. You can add family pictures, clip art, your family tree, new readings – including what you need and want for your Seder. You can also additional Haggadah text if the text is “too brief” for you. And, don’t forget to include the many Seder Songs, traditional and parodies. Once you have the “master” of materials, then print and bind a copy for each Seder participant as a Jewish Family Heirloom.
NEW FOR 5766/2006 The most recent update of a “brief” edition of a Seder that can be customized for your family. Note: It will open most accurately in terms of fonts and pagination in Davkawriter Platinum 6, the program in which it was written. 2. You also download various Haggadot in older Davkawriter formats for editing and personalizing – all listed under “Passover Downloads.”

3. If you don’t have Davkawriter, download one of my updated or previous editions PDF downloads of a Haggadah – PDF saves fonts and formatting, but you can’t type in changes. Then, edit by selecting which pages or sections you wish to include in your Haggadah. Make a master copy – on a copier or CD-ROM, and take it where copies will be bound into a Haggadah for each participant – and a family heirloom for each family member.

4. Download the JEWISH FAMILY HEIRLOOM HAGGADAH folder which is a Guide to creating a Haggadah that is more than just a Haggadah for your Seder. It can become a treasure of your family’s history – in text, pictures, creative readings and inclusions. Don’t miss this special opportunity.
